Dr Alex Tham – ENT Doctor In Singapore

Dr Alex Tham is an Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT) – Head and Neck Surgeon at Asian Healthcare Specialists in Singapore. He completed his medical degree at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and furthered his training through a residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery under the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education – International (ACGME-I) programme in Singapore. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and holds a Masters of Medicine (Otorhinolaryngology) from NUS.

In 2021, he completed a prestigious one-year fellowship in Advanced Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at McGill University Health Centre, Montreal, under the mentorship of Associate Professor Marc Tewfik, after receiving the Health Manpower Development Plan award from the Ministry of Health of Singapore.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr Tham is passionate about medical education. Dr Tham has contributed extensively to the ENT field through research, co-authored book chapters, and international peer-reviewed publications. He regularly presents at global conferences and is an instructor at both local and international rhinology courses.

Presently, he serves as the treasurer of the ASEAN Rhinologic Society and is an executive committee member of the Society of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Singapore.
