Dr Natasha Lim is the Medical Director of Dr Natasha Lim Eye Centre and an Ophthalmologist in Singapore. Dr Lim’s academic qualifications include:

• Graduated from the University of Nottingham Medical School in the United Kingdom (UK).
• Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in London.
• Residency training programme in Ophthalmology in Central London (1998 – 2000).
• Advanced surgical training at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London (2001 – 2005).
• Specialist Fellowship training in LASIK / PRK / Cataract Surgery (2006 – 2008) at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

Dr Lim specialises in 100% bladeless laser cataract surgery, refractive surgery eg LASIK, PRK, Advanced Corneal Lenticule Extraction, Implantable Contact Lens (ICL), age related macular degeneration, and more. Among her clinical interests and practices are Laser Refractive Surgery, Laser Refractive Cataract Surgery for spectacle freedom, Age-related Degenerative and Diabetic Macular Diseases and Laser Floaters Treatment.

Dr Lim holds the following appointments and committee memberships:

• Consultant at the Singapore National Eye Centre’s Cataract and Comprehensive Ophthalmology Service (2008-2010).
• Medical Director of The Lasik Surgery Clinic and Centre for Eye Surgery (2011).
• Had been a joint physician in London for an international clinical trial (which met US FDA standards) of a new generation excimer lasik machine for an industry leader in the laser refractive industry.
• A registered VISX excimer laser and IntraLase femtosecond laser practitioner in the UK and in Singapore.

AWARDS

Dr Lim won awards in the medical field, including:

• In July 2013, Dr Natasha Lim Eye Centre was accredited Centre of Excellence for the use of LENTIS multi-focal intra-ocular lens implant for the correction of presbyopia.
• Dr Lim is the only Ophthalmologist from Singapore elected to publish her results on the worldwide iDesign iLASIK Registry that provides guidance to other iDesign iLASIK surgeons.
