Dr Wong Weng Kin is a renal physician currently leading One Future Kidney Care, a specialised clinic dedicated to providing holistic, personalised kidney treatments at Mount Elizabeth Hospital.

His clinical expertise spans a diverse range of areas, including diagnostic and interventional nephrology, glomerular diseases, genetic kidney diseases, advanced dialysis, acute kidney injury, and continuous kidney replacement therapy.

Dr Wong graduated from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur and completed his specialist training in internal medicine at the Kuala Lumpur General Hospital, Malaysia. He then obtained membership of the Royal College of Physicians, UK. He completed his advanced specialist training in renal medicine at National University Hospital (NUH) and obtained specialist certification from the Specialists Accreditation Board. He further completed a 1-year fellowship training in vascular access endovascular intervention in the Division of Vascular Surgery at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan under the Academic Medicine Development Award.

Dr. Wong is passionate about optimising outcomes for dialysis patients. Currently, he serves as a visiting nephrologist at various dialysis centres including the National Kidney Foundation. Additionally, he is the Medical Director at the Diaverum Dialysis Centre within Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. Beyond his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Wong also contributes to academia as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. He actively engages in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students and remains dedicated to clinical research. He also serves as a reviewer for multiple international peer-reviewed
journals.

Dr Wong is a founding member of the Society of Dialysis Access Specialists. He is also a member of the Malaysia Medical Association, Singapore Medical Association, Singapore Society of Nephrology and Society of Transplantation (Singapore).

Throughout his career, Dr. Wong has earned numerous institutional and national clinical quality improvement awards and has contributed significantly to various nephrology research areas. In recognition of his achievements, he was elected as the Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh.
