However, not all heart fluttering feelings are good because they may be a symptom of heart disease like heart arrhythmia. What is heart arrhythmia? An erratic heartbeat is known as a cardiac arrhythmia. When the electrical signals that control how often the heart beats are coordinated improperly, heart rhythm issues (heart arrhythmias) result. The heart beats excessively quickly (tachycardia), too slowly (bradycardia), or irregularly as a result of the poor signaling.

Heart arrhythmias, which may be completely safe, sometimes feel like your heart is speeding or fluttering. However, some irregular heart rhythms can result in unwelcome and perhaps even life-threatening situations.

2. Stress Test : A test used to document arrhythmias that appear after exercise or get worse after it. This test may also be useful for figuring out whether an arrhythmia is linked to underlying cardiac disease or coronary artery disease.
3. Echocardiogram : An arrhythmia may be caused by a particular form of heart-viewing ultrasonography used to check for heart muscle or valve problems. This test can be carried out while lying still or while moving.
